1. Scope & Relationship to Other Policies
This Policy applies to all purchases of Virtual Currency or virtual in-game items (“Digital Goods”) made on hikariworld.uk or any associated checkout page. It forms an integral part of (and should be read together with) the Terms & Conditions / End-User Licence Agreement (EULA). The seller of Digital Goods is LIVE STUDY PLAY LTD, Company No 15280324, Dept 4558a, 126 East Ferry Rd, London E14 9FP, United Kingdom (“Company”, “we”, “our”).
2. Statutory 14-Day Right to Withdraw (UK/EU Consumers)
- Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and EU Digital Content Directive 2019/770, you have 14 calendar days from the date of purchase (“Cooling-Off Period”) to cancel before Digital Goods are delivered to your account.
- Because Digital Goods are delivered immediately once you click Pay & Play, you must expressly acknowledge that you lose the Cooling-Off right upon delivery. The acknowledgement tick-box is displayed at checkout.
- If you choose not to accept immediate delivery, you may delay activation until the Cooling-Off Period expires; however, game access and Digital Goods will remain locked until then.
3. Eligible Refund Scenarios
We will honour a full or partial refund only where one of the following applies:

4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted when:
- Digital Goods have been delivered and consumed (e.g., currency already spent).
- You experience lag, connection issues or hardware incompatibility outside our control.
- Account suspension or termination arises from breach of the EULA (cheats, chargebacks, abusive conduct).
- Market price fluctuations or promotional discounts occur after your purchase.
- You “change your mind” after Digital Goods have been credited to your account.
5. Currency, Taxes & Exchange Rates
- Prices are displayed in USD, EUR, AUD, GBP or CAD; your issuing bank may convert funds at its own rate.
- Refunds are processed in the original transaction currency. Any exchange-rate gains or losses, or bank fees, are outside our responsibility.
6. How to Request a Refund
- Time limit: Submit your request within 30 days of the transaction date.
- Contact: Email info@hikariworld.uk with:
- “Refund Request” + Order ID in the subject line;
- Date, amount and currency of the transaction;
- Detailed reason and supporting evidence (screenshots, receipts).
- Identity verification: We may ask for additional information to confirm you are the legitimate account holder.
7. Assessment & Processing
- We aim to acknowledge your request within two business days and issue a decision within seven business days.
- Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method; settlement by alternative means (e.g., PayPal to card) is not possible.
- Depending on your bank, funds may take 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
- Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may delay resolution and will trigger an account review.
- Fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks constitute a breach of the EULA and may result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of Digital Goods.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to revise this Policy at any time. Material changes will be announced on the Website at least 14 days in advance. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
10. Contact & Escalation
If you are unhappy with our decision, you may:
- Reply to our support email for a second-level review;
- Submit a complaint via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr); or
- Seek advice from your local consumer-protection body.
