1. Definitions
- “Company”, “we”, “our”, “us” – LIVE STUDY PLAY LTD, Company No 15280324, Dept 4558a, 126 East Ferry Rd, London E14 9FP, United Kingdom .
- “Website” – <hikariworld.uk> and any sub-domains.
- “Game” – Hikari World, a browser-based online role-playing game delivered solely as digital content.
- “Virtual Currency” / “Items” – non-redeemable in-game credits or objects purchased with real money.
- “Player”, “you”, “your” – any natural person who creates an account, accesses the Website or plays the Game.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By (i) visiting the Website, (ii) creating an account, or (iii) purchasing Virtual Currency/Items, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old; players under 18 require verifiable parental consent for payments.
- You warrant that information provided during registration is accurate and kept up-to-date.
- Your login credentials are personal and non-transferable; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Licence Grant & Restrictions
- We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to access and play the Game for personal, non-commercial use.
- You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the Game;
- Use cheats, bots, automation software or exploit bugs;
- Sell, exchange or transfer accounts, Virtual Currency or Items outside the in-Game interface;
- Upload unlawful, defamatory or infringing content.
5. Virtual Currency & Virtual Goods
- Virtual Currency/Items have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for real money or other consideration.
- All sales are final once the Virtual Currency/Items are delivered to your account (see §8 for statutory exceptions).
- Prices are displayed in USD, EUR, AUD, GBP or CAD; you are responsible for any bank fees or exchange-rate variance.
- We may change available bundles or pricing at any time; such changes will not affect completed purchases.
6. Pricing, Payment & Taxes
- Payments are processed via PCI-DSS-compliant providers; your card data is not stored on our servers.
- You authorise us to charge your selected payment method for the chosen amount plus applicable taxes.
- Suspected fraud, chargebacks or payment disputes may result in temporary suspension pending investigation.
7. Delivery of Digital Content
Delivery is complete, and your statutory right to withdraw ends, once the Virtual Currency/Items are credited to your account, which occurs immediately after payment confirmation.
8. Refunds, Chargebacks & Right of Withdrawal
- EU/UK 14-day cooling-off: you may withdraw from the purchase before delivery. By ticking “Play now” you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge loss of the withdrawal right.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges will be refunded upon verification.
- Initiating an unjustified chargeback constitutes breach of this Agreement and may lead to account termination.
9. Player Conduct Rules
You agree to:
- Respect other players; no harassment, hate speech or spam.
- Refrain from advertising third-party products or services.
- Follow all in-Game instructions and community guidelines (as amended from time to time).
10. Intellectual Property
The Game, trademarks, artwork and all associated content are owned by or licensed to the Company. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
11. Updates, Patches & Service Availability
We may deploy mandatory patches or updates. The Game is provided “as is” and may be unavailable during maintenance or technical issues. We are not liable for downtime.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, the licence ends and all Virtual Currency/Items are forfeited without compensation.
13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
- Our total liability for foreseeable loss or damage arising out of this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the preceding six months.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement or misuse of the Game.
15. Complaints & Alternative Dispute Resolution

- If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may use the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or another recognised ADR provider.
- Consumers resident in the UK/EU may raise disputes in their local courts; otherwise, see §16.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by English law. The courts of England & Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules grant you additional rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on the Website. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
